About
up architecture is an independent architecture studio founded in 2018. up makes unique and authentic designs. We believe in inspiration, enthusiasm and profound collaboration to create exciting designs that reflect the soul and personal identity of our clients.
We are proud to work with an open mind, everything is possible. From our genuine curiosity we meticulously explore the full potential each assignment holds and challenge ourselves to find the best solutions that makes each project unique.

At uparchitecture we enjoy working on a wide variety of assignments in both architecture and interior. Our diverse portfolio contains commissions in workplace and office design, research and education institutions, healthcare, public projects, ship design, residential buildings and high end villa design.
Our open approach to design is driven by a sincere understanding of our clients and end users and sets people at the heart of our architecture and interiors. We apply our design method in all building typologies creating unique and personal projects.
Sustainability is a natural part of our work. We believe that designing with attention to nature and the environment makes better architecture and inspiring interiors. up architecture has considerable expertise in implementing sustainable and healthy materials, re-use and circularity in our designs.

Meet up
up architecture is led by Anne Boonstra. Before founding up architecture in 2018 Anne worked for 10 years in leading architecture studios in the Netherlands and abroad.
His extensive experience includes a wide range of distinctive projects and typologies in both high end and sustainable architecture as well as large scale interior projects.
up works with a dedicated team of international architects.
Current team members are: Anne Boonstra, Robert-Jan Riemersma, Martina Kocsisova, Yildez Veldhuis, Adriaan Bon, Lyan Westrik, Cherise de Wit, Michiel Tesselaar.
